10% of operator rewards go to Warrior Beat
Since October 2021, CarPool has donated 10% of the pool operator's own rewards — never delegators' rewards — in ADA to Warrior Beat, a Veteran-operated nonprofit that harnesses the therapeutic value of rhythmic drumming for Veterans. Fletcher met founder Trevor Meyer in the summer of 2021, a few months into CarPool's operation; after their own due diligence, Warrior Beat built a Cardano wallet and began accepting donations in ADA — a real-world adoption story before it was fashionable, and a mission close to a career spent supporting Veterans.
